Comprehensive Vision Care

Our comprehensive vision care plans are two-fold, covering a routine eye examination and prescription eyewear at the frequency and benefit level chosen by you. Pricing for these plans are based on coverage levels, funding structure, and the geographic location of members.

Occupational Programs

These programs are designed to support your overall wellness and disease management initiatives in order to educate members on reducing the risk of vision loss while advocating the importance of improving overall health.

Eye Health and Wellness/Disease Management Programs

Davis Vision offers Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) and Safety Eyewear Programs. These programs can be offered on a stand-alone basis or in conjunction with the comprehensive routine vision care benefit. When bundled, economies are achieved by virtue of one eye examination, providing the prescription needs for both the routine and occupational eyewear with no additional administrative fee.

Your Safety Eyeglass Program

Participate on a stand-alone basis or in conjunction with a routine eye care benefit.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) estimates that 90% of all occupational related eye injuries3 are preventable with the use of appropriate safety eyewear. Providing adequate eye protection while correcting vision problems maximizes member safety and productivity in the workplace.

The health and safety of employees is a concern shared by labor, management and government. Worker health is, of course, the primary concern, but the National Safety Council reports that eye injuries cost industries an estimated one half billion dollars annually4.

With the exception of designated copayments, members may receive a complete benefit including comprehensive eye examination and new safety eyeglasses based on plan design selected. Additional lens options may be offered at a member discount5.
